Pope Benedict XVI Reading Group
Mondays at 7:30 PM
All Graduate Students and Young Adults (ages 22-35) are invited to the Pope Benedict XVI Reading Group with Fr. Jacek Buda, OP. During each meeting, you’ll read a portion of Pope Benedict XVI’s book Introduction to Christianity and discuss. It is a great way to learn more about the Catholic faith!
“While our hearts reach out towards the annual celebration of the birth of Christ, the Church’s liturgy directs our gaze to the final goal: our encounter with the Lord in the splendor of glory. This is why we, in every Eucharist, “announce his death, proclaim his resurrection until he comes again”. We hold vigil in prayer. The liturgy does not cease to encourage and support us, putting on our lips, in the days of Advent, the cry with which the whole Bible concludes, the last page of the Revelation of Saint John: “Come, Lord Jesus” (Revelation 22:20)” – Pope Benedict XVI
Your brother in Christ,
