Tuesday, February 11- Theology on Tap – Tuesday, February 11th 7:00 PM – Presentation by Michele Grantham on the topic of “Theology of the Body”. Arrive by 6:30 PM for food and drink!

Dedication Bricks – In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the dedication of the Newman Center Church, we are creating a new outdoor Marian Devotional Space within the existing rose garden. Students, alumni, parishioners, parents, and benefactors are invited to purchase engraved bricks which will pave the renovated space. Each brick is $100.00 and can be ordered at the front office.

Tuesdays at 7 PM
We invite anyone who is interested in becoming Catholic and anyone who is not Catholic but interested in learning more about the Catholic faith to join us every Tuesday Night at 7:00 PM. SERVE AT CASA MARIA CATHOLIC WORKER HOUSE
Mondays and Thursdays at 8:15 AM

Casa Maria is a Catholic Worker House that serves the poor and homeless in South Tucson. Only a few miles away, this community of workers provides members of the Newman Center with the opportunity to serve and grow in understanding of the mission of the Catholic Workers. If interested, meet us at the Newman Center at 8:15 AM on Mondays and Thursdays. If you have any questions, contact Casey at charlesrhoyack@email.arizona.edu

WEDNESDAY MORNING SCRIPTURE SERIES

Wednesday at 8:00 AM
Fr. Bart will begin by examining the Prophetic Tradition of Ancient Israel. Participants will examine texts from the Prophet Isaiah associated with the Lenten Cycle of Readings in the Church’s Liturgy. The session will last one hour and begins on Wednesday, January 29.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT STUDENT MASS
Wednesdays at 7:30 PM
Every Wednesday night we invite all students to our Wednesday Student Mass! At 7:30, we begin with a time of praise and worship to prepare our hearts as we transition into Mass. The Mass is unique since it features a discussion homily. After Mass, we have different types of snacks and invite everyone to hang out.

Upcoming Events
SPRING BREAK SERVICE PROJECT – The Social Justice Team will be leading a service trip to The Nature Conservancy’s Three Links Ranch to work on Saving the San Pedro River in southern Arizona. Contact Jeff at jsjohannesmeyer@email.arizona.edu.
WILDCAT AWAKENING RETREAT, February 21-23. Sign—up at the front desk. There is a $20 deposit. The retreat cost is $100 per person and the deposit applies to that cost. There are scholarships available. Space is very limited so sign-up ASAP! The retreat will be February 21-23 at La Purisima Retreat Center.

SUSTAINING BOARD UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS
The Newman Sustaining Board is offering two $5,000 scholarships to be awarded for the 2014-2015 academic year. Application forms can be found at: www.uacatholic.org/scholarship/. Completed applications are to be delivered to the Newman Center office by no later than Noon, Friday, March 14, 2014.
