Sacraments and Worship

The Sacraments are at the heart of the community at the St. Thomas More Catholic Newman Center.  Find out more information about each of the Sacraments below.  If you are interested in volunteering for any of our liturgical ministries, including music ministry, feel free to email the contacts for the respective ministries.

Baptism

If you are an adult interested in becoming Catholic, please contact Fr. Donald Bramble (djbramble@aol.com) about participating in the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation) program.  RCIA Inquiry meets on Tuesday nights at 7 PM in the Newman Center Library.

Infant Baptisms are celebrated at Sunday Masses.  Please call the office at (520)327-4665 to schedule baptisms and preparation classes.

Confirmation

Eight-week classes and the Sacrament of Confirmation are offered twice each year for college students.  For more information, contact Sr. Elizabeth at SrElizabeth@uacatholic.org.

Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered on Saturday 4-5 PM and and Sunday 4-4:45 (or appointment with a priest)

Eucharist

See our Mass Schedule and attend one of our liturgies.  Also, find out more about Eucharistic Adoration at the Newman Center.

Marriage

Contact one of the priests at the Newman Center if you are interested in marriage preparation.  Couples who are interested in celebrating the Sacrament should contact one of the priests at least six months prior to the proposed wedding date.

Anointing of the Sick

Please contact one of the priests if you or someone you know would like to be anointed because of sickness, injury, or surgery.
