Music Ministry

There are a variety of choirs at the Newman Center.
If you are a vocalist or instrumentalist and are interested in singing/playing for any of our Masses, inquire by emailing the Music Director NathanP@UACatholic.org with your name and your musical skill.

How YOU can help!

On weekends, we have 4 masses, which rehearse one hour before mass:

Saturday at 5:15

Sunday at 9

Sunday at 11

Sunday at 5

“I want to help, but my weekends are wild!😬“

We also have mid-week music for Solemnities and Special Feast Days at 5:15 during the week (Tuesday through Friday)!

Feast of St. Mark (April 25th)

Feast of St. Thomas More (June 22nd)

Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary (August 15th)

Feast of St. John Henry Newman (October 9th)

And, we have adoration on the first Thursday of each month as well as moveable dates of Taizé services and Praise and Worship nights.

Depending on your involvement in our music ministry, you may even be asked to join our yearly:
