Word Encounter is our Scripture reading ministry. Each week, small groups led by students meet to read and reflect Scripture in their lives. Students use Lectio Divina, a medieval way to read Scripture which has been endorsed as one of the best ways to read the Word of God by both Pope Francis and Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI. Students meet in small groups at various times throughout the week, at various locations in the Newman Center.
Join us every Wednesday at 7:30 PM for a rotating variety of topics. See the bulletin board in the lobby for more information.
Faith and Science Discussions with the Vatican Observatory
