There are a variety of choirs at the Newman Center.
If you are a vocalist or instrumentalist and are interested in singing/playing for any of our Masses, inquire by emailing the Music Director NathanP@UACatholic.org with your name and your musical skill.

Music Ministry

At the Newman Center, the music ministry supports our four weekend masses, first-Thursday adorations, feast days, and other special liturgies. We enjoy having new people come aboard: those who sing, play guitar, drums, piano, or even other instruments

For singers, this is an opportunity to grow by learning how read music better, learning to sing harmony, or even leading the congregation as the primary cantor.

For instrumentalists, such as guitar players or drummers, this is an opportunity to learn how to read music better, have space for reverent improvisation, and perhaps learn new chords, patterns, or some music theory.

Best of all, it is a way to develop and share your skills and talents with the church community in unity with the Newman Center’s mission of transformation through an encounter with the Spirit of Truth and the Love of God.
